Addis Ababa (AMECO)- The FDRE Mesob One-Stop Service Center is bringing a wide array of government offerings under one roof to streamline access for investors, members of the Ethiopian diaspora, and the general public.
According to Bezawit Kifle, Chief Customer Service Officer at the center, the one-stop model enables clients to complete multiple official procedures without traveling between different government institutions.
The center offers a comprehensive suite of services, including Ethiopian Origin IDs, investment information and permits, labor and work authorizations, business registrations, trade licensing, and official document authentication.Bezawit Kifle noted that the initiative is critical for international investors and diaspora members, who often operate on tight schedules when visiting Ethiopia.”The core idea behind the one-stop center is to provide every service an investor needs under a single roof,” Kifle said.
She added that the center relies on integrated systems and modern technology to enhance speed, transparency, and management. Additionally, a dedicated quality assurance team conducts continuous monitoring to ensure services meet strict standards without unnecessary delay or friction.
Although public reception has been positive since launch,Bezawit Kifle acknowledged that there is still room for growth. Moving forward, the center plans to integrate additional government agencies, expand online portal access, and continuously gather customer feedback. The ultimate goal,Bezawit Kifle emphasized, is to establish a benchmark service model in Ethiopia that can serve as a standard for neighboring countries and beyond.
