The Ethiopian team paid a visit to Cairo, Egypt’s newly built capital.
Bahir Dar, July 27 2023 (AMECO) – The group from various cities and organizations looked at Cairo’s renovation efforts in order to alleviate overcrowding and build an up-to-date, versatile, pleasant metropolis for future generations.
The delegation also noticed operations aimed at developing rural areas in tandem with the city.
During the tour, the delegation met with Cairo municipal authorities to discuss urban modernization, new urban and construction of infrastructure, and the restoration of crowded urban regions.
The participants noted that as Ethiopia and Egypt are culturally, historically, and demographically identical, the delegation’s experience can be implemented in either city.
The visit was also attended by federal leaders and mayors from Addis Abeba, Adama, Bahir Dar, and Hawassa.
