Addis Ababa ( AMECO) – Participants in the 5th National Cyber Talent Summer Camp Challenge Program report that the experience far exceeded their initial expectations.
While students arrived expecting a strictly technical focus on cybersecurity, they were instead immersed in a holistic learning environment. The program seamlessly blended technology, physical fitness, and psychological development with activities designed to cultivate teamwork, discipline, and critical thinking.
Among the highlights, participants singled out chess training as particularly impactful for sharpening strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. Students also explored related high-tech fields, including aerospace, significantly broadening their understanding of innovation.
Describing their selection for the 5th cohort as an honor, participants credited the camp with providing invaluable knowledge and real-world skills beyond the traditional classroom setting.
Inspired by their experience, the graduates are now encouraging other young people to work hard and prepare for the opportunity to join the upcoming 6th cohort of the program.
