Bahir Dar, July 7, 2023 (AMECO) President of Ethiopia Sahle-Work Zewde hosted a dinner reception in honour of the visiting Djiboutian Public Diplomacy Delegation.<\/p>\n
Speaking at the ceremony, the President said, the longstanding Ethio-Djiboutian diplomatic relation is exemplary. She said that special attention is given to the strong people-to-people relations between the two countries, even prior to the inception of public diplomacy.<\/p>\n
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Demeke Mekonnen also echoed the fact that the visit of the PD delegation will further enhance the strategic cooperation between the contiguous neighbours.<\/p>\n
The head of the PD delegation and Secretary General of the Ministry of Interior of Djibouti, H.E. Siraj Omar Abdulkader said, we need to work closely to capitalise people-to-people ties to boost trade.<\/p>\n
