Bahir Dar, June 29, 2023(AMECO) Prime Minister of Ethiopia, Dr. Abiy Ahmed has participated in the 1st Extraordinary Session of the General Assembly – Summit 2023, on the Organization of Educational Cooperation.<\/p>\n
Following the Summit Dr. Abiy Tweeted that emphasis has been given to reduce the shortcomings in the education sector, and making the youth competent in the changing world.
\n“By investing in education, we equip our youth with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate an ever-changing world.<\/p>\n
In Ethiopia\u2019s efforts towards cultivating inclusivity in education provision, we are undertaking activities to ensure that the gender gap is closed and that students with special needs are considered.<\/p>\n
Additionally, expanding facilities and educational services for pastoral and semi-pastoral areas; providing access to non-formal education and training programs for adults as well as ensuring tertiary education is conducive for persons with disabilities are some of our key deliverables.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
