Placements abroad also exceeded expectations, with 149,000 citizens securing overseas employment against a projected target of 100,000.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"6\">Addressing concerns over data integrity and inflation of official statistics, Dr Sibuh emphasized that the bureau is digitizing its reporting mechanisms to eliminate fraudulent reporting. Currently, 76% of all recorded jobs are logged directly into a digital system, while the remaining 24% rely on paper records in rural zones lacking internet connectivity.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"7\">To further tighten oversight, the bureau is integrating its system with <i data-path-to-node=\"7\" data-index-in-node=\"72\">Fayda<\/i>, Ethiopia&#8217;s national biometric identification system. The integration aims to restrict individuals to single-centre registration and ensure accurate personal data. Under the new digital workflow, job creation will also be verified via automated Telegram notifications sent directly to beneficiaries&#8217; mobile devices.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"8\">Looking ahead to the 2019 fiscal year, the regional government has established a target of creating 1.4m jobs across 65,000 enterprises. To support this expansion, authorities are launching a crackdown on illegally occupied storage containers and industrial sheds, reclaiming the structures to reallocate them as workspaces for newly established enterprises across the agricultural, industrial, and service sectors.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9\">Prospective workers will undergo vocational, technical, and mindset training across 246 regional colleges before deployment.
