Ethiopia\u2019s Chief of Staff of the National Defense Force General Adem Mohammed met with Lt. General Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi, Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed prospects for advancing military cooperation between the two countries, according to Emirates News Agency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Currently on a visit to Ethiopia, Lt. General Al Rumaithi \u201cdeliberated the progress of military collaboration between the two countries and exchanged views over an array of issues of common interest,\u201d said the news agency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Al Rumaithi is accompanied by a top brass delegation, it added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Relation between Ethiopia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is growing in a range of areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ethiopia\u2019s Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed visited Abu Dhabi in March, where he met with Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the meeting, the two leaders reviewed the opportunities to enhance cooperation between the two countries in various sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
