\u200bBeyond water management, the state deployed a comprehensive systemic solution combining massive distributions of modern farming tools, water pumps, machinery and chemical fertilisers. This multi-layered intervention yielded measurable, scalable results, more than doubling annual agricultural production from roughly 90 million quintals post-reform to over 200 million quintals today.<\/p>\n
\u200bDetailing the impact of these interventions, Abiy stated: “Because of our work on dams, machinery, fertilisers and introducing water pumps on a large scale, the region’s annual production has more than doubled to over 200 million quintals.” Emphasising the ongoing commitment required to maintain progress, he added: “Is it enough?
