For generations, farming families living closely tied to the land have relied on more than just rainfall to survive\u2014they have depended on wisdom, equity, and customary governance.<\/p>\n

At the center of this traditional system stands an indigenous institution: the Water Father<\/b> (\u12e8\u12cd\u1203 \u12a0\u1263\u1275). A deeply respected community figure, the Water Father is entrusted with the sacred duty of overseeing the equitable distribution and management of shared water streams and irrigation channels.<\/p>\n
