Demeke Mekonnen, at Addis Ababa University.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span dir=\"LTR\">The conference aimed to establish and institute global governance, marked a pivotal moment in the Center\u2019s journey. <\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span dir=\"LTR\">Mr. Demeke Mekonnen delivered his welcoming remarks, underscoring the historical significance of the conference in launching the operationalization of the Global Black Center. He expressed gratitude for being chosen as the inaugural chairperson and commended the Center for its efforts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span dir=\"LTR\">Distinguished guests, including Dr. Julius Garvey, son of Marcus Garvey, and Professor Earl Taylor, were among the dignitaries in attendance.
