Bahir Dar, February 9 – (AMECO)-\u00a0 A $46 million program, implemented by Save the Children and partners in\u00a0 Amhara and other regions of Ethiopia, the US embassy Addis Ababa reported.<\/p>\n

“To improve the lives of children across Ethiopia who have experienced trauma due to conflict and drought, Deputy Administrator Paloma Adams-Allen joined Ambassador Massinga and Professor Berhanu Nega, Minister of Education, to celebrate the one year anniversary of the joint project funded by\u00a0 and the Lego Foundation.<\/p>\n
<span;>This $46 million program, implemented by Save the Children and partners in Amhara, Afar, Tigray, Oromia, and Somali, uses play-based learning to benefit children\u2019s life-long development.<\/p>\n
<span;>USAID is grateful to the Ministry of Education and regional education bureaus for their close collaboration and partnership to provide access to education for children in the conflict affected areas.”<\/p>\n
