Ethiopian Response-Recovery-Resilience for Conflict-Affected Project Committee Approved 60 million USD
Bahir Dar, July 26, 2023 (AMECO) Ethiopian Response-Recovery-Resilience for Conflict Affected Project Steering Committee approved 60 million USD budget for 2016 EFY.
The Steering Committee evaluated the project’s performance in 2015 Ethiopian Fiscal Year (EFY) and discuss the work plan and budget for 2016 EFY in which approved 60 million USD.
The Steering Committee agreed on the need to enhance collaboration, ensure timely fund disbursement, monitor, and evaluate the project results, and address any emerging issues while implementing the project.
The project has been implementing in in 5 regional states of Ethiopia affected by conflict namely Amhara, Afar, Tigray, Benshangul-Gumuz, and Oromia.
The meeting was chaired by H.E Mrs. Samaritan Sewasew, State Minister of Finance and H.E Mrs. Alemitu Omud, State Minster of Women and Social Affairs and attended by representatives from the federal steering committee and representative from conflict affected reginal states.
