Ethiopian National Dialogue Commission to hold meeting with Diasporas soon
Bahir Dar, July 21 2023 (AMECO) – The preparations to conduct zoom meeting with members of Ethiopian Diaspora across the globe have been finalized, Ethiopian National Dialogue Commission (ENDC) disclosed.
The ENDC which commenced its activities back in June 2023 said that it has been working tirelessly to involve Diaspora community in the National Dialogue which is believed to bring lasting solutions to the longstanding problems.
ENDC Commissioner Yonas Adaye (PhD) told The Ethiopian Herald that Ethiopian Diasporas have been playing decisive role and they are icons and are promoting Ethiopia’s agenda citing the case of the Abay Dam. He further stated that as Ethiopian Diasporas have been playing positive roles, ENDC is expecting members of Diaspora to play their due roles in the National Dialogue process.
“They are Ethiopians and Ethiopian agenda concern them. Anything that affects Ethiopia affects them.” We have planned to conduct the preliminary discussion with the Diaspora community.
