The 15th Amhara Region Culture and Art Festival to be hosted in Bahir Dar on July 8 and 9, 2023
Bahir Dar, July 4, 2023 (AMECO) According to the Chief of Culture and Tourism Bureau, Tahir Muhammad preliminary works for the 15th Amhara Region Culture and Art Festival has been accomplished.
The Culture and Art Festivals have been conducted every year under Culture and Tourism Bureau, though interrupted in the past years due to the instability in the country.
Mr. Tahir Muhammad announced that the 15th Regional Culture and Arts Festival is to be hosted on July 8 and 9, 2023 in the beautiful city of Bahir Dar.
The festival will be celebrated with the theme “Culture for Peace and Unity”.
Music competition, a painting and sculpture exhibition, and other events will be part of the festival. Artists who have contributed to the art sector of the region will be recognized.
Mr. Tahir mentioned that the festival will promote an exchange of experiences, strengthening people-to-people relations, for unity and a solution for disputes.
Higher officials from the federal and regional administrations will attend the event.
